About me
Toni Kaui is the founder of an independent, competency-based educational institution in East Hawaiʻi. Nā Hunaahi perpetuates Native Hawaiian language and cultural practices through culturally responsive, design-based, integrative STEAM curricula and in partnership with Native Hawaiian community organizations. As a champion of STEAM education, she provides opportunities for underserved and underrepresented student populations, especially Native Hawaiians. She has been a Code.org facilitator with STEMworks for over 7 years, facilitating PD workshops in Computer Science Foundations, Computer Science Principles, AP Computer Science A, and AI & Machine Learning.
